As the end of summer sneaks up, many of us may start to feel a lack of motivation to return to work or school. By taking proactive steps, you can set yourself up for success in the upcoming months. Here are 5 steps we are taking. Follow along below.

Reflect and Set Goals

Take a moment to reflect on your summer. What went well, and what maybe didn’t go as planned? Use these experiences to think about what you want to achieve in the next few months. Having some clear goals in mind will give you a sense of purpose and direction, so you don't end up feeling stuck and unmotivated.

Set Up a Realistic Routine

Routines might seem boring and all, but they could actually be the key to beat the scaries/slump/blues. Having a structured routine that includes work, play, and taking care of yourself can do wonders. It helps keep your body and mind in check, making sure you're feeling refreshed and ready to face any unexpected challenges.

‍

Clear the Clutter, Find Your Zen

Having a messy set-up can make it hard to get things done. So, take a little bit of time to tidy up. Clear out your workspace, toss out any thing that no longer brings joy, Β and organize your files. You'll feel so much better and be way more productive once everything's all neat and tidy.

Hug Yourself with Self-Care

Transition periods can be bumpy, so take time for yourself. Engage your body in regular movement, practice mindfulness through meditation or deep breathing exercises, and ensure you're getting enough sleep.

Summer 2023, you have been so good to us! Embrace this time as an opportunity to grow, learn, and achieve your aspirations.
